Welcome to My Personal Page
It's been almost 3 years since our family was introduced to Sakura House. Ken was there for just 4 days but the impact it had on us was overwhelming. We had the support of caring staff and volunteers, the comforting smell of baking in the kitchen, the playroom for the grandkids. We are so fortunate to have access to such a wonderful place during our darkest moments.
Our family is once again participating in Hike for Hospice. This is an annual hike that brings families, friends, staff, volunteers, sponsors and community members together to raise funds for Oxford County’s only residential hospice.
I'm asking you to consider making a donation to our team. Liam decided that our team should be called The Beatles because grandpa really liked them. Every donation helps. Thank you for your support!

About VON Oxford Sakura House
Our 10-bed residential hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. VON Sakura House provides a skilled team of nurses, personal support workers, physicians and specially trained volunteers who help more than 170 patients and their families each year. Hospice care is covered only partially by government funding so we need to raise the rest to cover the gap. That is why your donation is so important.
