In Memory of Jane Brunsdon
Hike for Hospice benefiting VON Oxford Sakura House is an annual hike that brings families, friends, staff, volunteers, sponsors and community members together to raise funds for Oxford County’s only residential hospice.
I am hiking in memory of my mom Jane Brunsdon. My mom along with my family used the services of Von Oxford Sakura House in 2017. I always wanted to give back to the Sakura House, and show how much my family and I appreciated their support through the toughest days of our lives. My mom moved into the Sakura House on September 19, 2017; 3 years to the day of this walk. What better time than now to help show some love and support to each other.
Every contribution to VON Oxford Sakura House has a direct impact on our patients and families. Donations from caring people like you make it possible for us to offer the best end-of-life care to patients and support families during this difficult time, at no cost. You can help make a family’s life a little easier with your gift. Every donation helps. Thank you for investing in such meaningful work.

About VON Oxford Sakura House
Our 10-bed residential hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. VON Sakura House provides a skilled team of nurses, personal support workers, physicians and specially trained volunteers who help more than 170 patients and their families each year. Hospice care is covered only partially by government funding so we need to raise the rest to cover the gap. That is why your donation is so important.
