Welcome to My Personal Page
Hey friends and family! Here I go again....my Mom seriously wanted to celebrate her 100th birthday but when she realized she was running out of time one month before her 98th birthday she had only one request: "How do I get to Sakura House?" Fortunately, her wish was granted immediately and her final days were spent in the comfort and care of the wonderful team at Sakura House. I will always be a fan! I'm hoping some of you will join in the Meri Macs team (that was our family orchestra in the 60's under the leadership of Elsie!) and I'm also hoping you'll pull out your wallets and make a financial donation. This facility has been wonderfully gifted over the years but it's very expensive to maintain this high level of service even with a host of dedicated volunteers! Hoping for beautiful sunshine on Saturday, September 21st!
The Hike for Hospice benefiting VON Oxford Sakura House is an annual hike that brings families, friends, staff, volunteers, sponsors and community members together to raise funds for Oxford County’s only residential hospice.
We are hiking and fundraising for the patients and their families who use these services each year. We hope you will join us. Help us reach our goal to help more patients and families at VON Oxford Sakura House. We appreciate any donation you make. Just click the support button to help us reach our goal.
Every contribution to VON Oxford Sakura House has a direct impact on our patients and families. Donations from caring people like you make it possible for us to offer the best end-of-life care to patients and support families during this difficult time, at no cost. You can help make a family’s life a little easier with your gift. Every donation helps. Thank you for investing in such meaningful work.
Thank you!

About VON Oxford Sakura House
Our 10-bed residential hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. VON Sakura House provides a skilled team of nurses, personal support workers, physicians and specially trained volunteers who help more than 344 patients and their families each year. Hospice care is covered only partially by government funding so we need to raise the rest to cover the gap. That is why your donation is so important.
