Welcome to My Personal Page

The Hike for Hospice, benefiting VON Oxford Sakura House, is a meaningful annual event that brings together families, friends, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and community members to raise vital funds for Oxford County’s only residential hospice.
Last year, I experienced firsthand the incredible care provided by Sakura House when my uncle spent his final months there. The compassion, dignity, and peace they offered him—and our entire family—was truly remarkable. Having a place like this in our community is a gift.
This year, I’m hiking and fundraising in honour of the patients and families who rely on these services every day. I invite you to join me in supporting this cause. Your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure that others can receive the same level of care and comfort—at no cost to them.
Every contribution makes a difference. Your support helps provide exceptional end-of-life care and compassionate support to families during one of life’s most difficult times.
If you’d like to help, simply click the Support button to donate. Together, we can make a meaningful impact.
Thank you for your generosity and for investing in such important work.

About VON Oxford Sakura House
Our 10-bed residential hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. VON Sakura House provides a skilled team of nurses, personal support workers, physicians and specially trained volunteers who help more than 344 patients and their families each year. Hospice care is covered only partially by government funding so we need to raise the rest to cover the gap. That is why your donation is so important.
