I'm participating in the Hike for Hospice in support of VON Oxford Sakura House; a place that holds a very special place in my heart.
This annual event brings together families, friends, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and community members to raise vital funds for Oxford County’s only residential hospice.
For me, this cause is deeply personal. My Gramma currently lives at Sakura House, and the care she receives is nothing short of amazing. The staff go above and beyond every single day, treating her with incredible kindness, respect, and compassion. It means the world to our family.
That’s why I’m hiking and fundraising: to help ensure more patients and families can experience the same level of care and comfort.
Please consider making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Just click the support button — every contribution, no matter the size, truly makes a difference.
Your support helps provide compassionate, cost-free end-of-life care to patients and their families when they need it most. With your help, we can make their journey a little easier and full of dignity.
Thank you so much for being part of something so meaningful.

About VON Oxford Sakura House
Our 10-bed residential hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care at no cost to patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. VON Sakura House provides a skilled team of nurses, personal support workers, physicians and specially trained volunteers who help more than 270 patients and their families each year. Hospice care is covered only partially by government funding so we need to raise the rest to cover the gap. That is why your donation is so important.
